Donald L. Green,

74, passed away at 3:25 PM on Tuesday, September 08, 2015, at Lima Memorial Hospital in Lima, Ohio.

Donald was born on Tuesday, September 10, 1940, in Lima, Ohio, to the late Fred Sr. and Florence (Punches) Green. On Monday, February 25, 1957, he married Irene Williams. She survives in Lakeview, Ohio.

Donald was retired from HU Tuttle Construction after 38 years and was a member of the Carpenter Union Local No. 372. He loved spending time with family and having T-bone parties in the garage. He had five women that loved him dearly.

He is survived by: four daughters, Marilyn (Jerry) Nichols, Deb (Paul) Dunifon, Dawn Ann (John) Buckmaster, and Janet (Burnis) Flannery; eleven grandchildren; twenty-five great grandchildren; and a sister, Helen Williams.

He is preceded in death by: grandson, Paul Dunifon, Jr.; twin brother, David; brothers, Fred, Bill, Bob, Jim, Terry; sisters, Betty and Loretta.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, September 11, 2015 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, Ohio.

A funeral service will begin at 10:30 AM on Saturday, September 12, 2015 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, Ohio. Pastor Jerry M. Hall will officiate. Interment will be in Shawnee Cemetery, Lima, Ohio.
