Donald H. Cox,63, died at 3:01 a.m. May 14, 2009, at St. Rita?s Medical Center. He was born February 23, 1946, in Auburn, Indiana, to Donald H. and Zelma L. Grinnell Cox Sr., who preceded him in death. Mr. Cox was a member of Gamma Sigma Delta. He was a 1964 graduate of Lima Senior High School, attended Kent State University and received his bachelor?s degree in entomology from The Ohio State University. He enjoyed gardening, beekeeping, model railroads and genealogy. Survivors include a sister, Jacqueline (Ron) Rower, of Lima, Ohio; a brother, Ronald D. (Jill) Cox, of Lima, Ohio; and 17 nieces and nephews. Memorial services will begin at 4 p.m. Sunday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. The Rev. Howard Allison will officiate. Entombment of the cremains will be at a later date. Friends may call from 2 p.m. until time of services Sunday at the funeral home.
