Donald William Hohl, 95, died at 11:53 p.m. Dec. 27, 2007, at Lima Manor Nursing Home. He was born Sept. 3, 1912, in Lima to Edward and Lena Archinal Hohl, who preceded him in death. Mr. Hohl had worked as a trainman, brakeman and conductor for Nickel Plate Road and Norfolk & Southern Railroad. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church. He was a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 370. Survivors include a sister, Irene Schulz, of Lima; two nephews, John (Diane) Schulz and Donald (Pamela) Schulz, of Lima; and a niece, Joyce (Jim) Cox, of Indianapolis. He was preceded in death by a sister, Mildred Day. Graveside services will begin at 12:30 p.m. Monday in Woodlawn Cemetery. Pastor Kent Wilson will officiate. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home.
