Donald was born on February 8, 1945, in Gomer, Ohio, to the late David T. Humphreys and Dorothy (Kraft) Humphreys.
He was the owner of the B & D Trucking Services. He enjoyed bowling at 20th Century Lanes and West Gate Lanes. He was an avid fan of The Ohio State and Cleveland Browns.
He is survived by: a son, James McGlothen, of Lewis Center, OH, and a daughter, Jennifer (James) Gedert, of Stevensville, MI; two grandsons; a brother, Dennis (Jeanie) Humphreys, of Elida, OH; and a sister, Darlene Harriot; several nieces & nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 P.M. on Wednesday, October 1, 2014 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, Ohio.
A funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM on Thursday, October 2, 2014 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, OH. Rev. Wanda Werking will officiate.
Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lima, Ohio.
