Donald A. Rabe,
94 of Lima, Ohio died on Thursday, April 4, 2013, in Lima.
Born June 5, 1918 in Lima, Ohio, he was the son of the late Orville Rabe and the late Georgianna (Drumm) Rabe.
Don served in the 1045th Army Air Force Unit in Africa and Europe during World War II. On February 16, 1946, he married Fairy W. Page.
Mr. Rabe was a retired supervisor from Beatrice Foods, but was always a life-long farmer. He was a member of Forest Park United Methodist Church.
Surviving is his loving wife of 67 years, Fairy; a daughter, Barbara (Neil) Duncan of Castle Pines, CO; two grandchildren, Kelly (Kevin) Thorpe and Neil (Stephanie) Duncan; and four great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by: two sons, Roger Rabe and Donald Rabe; and three brothers, Orvil, William and George Rabe.
There will be no visitation.
A family graveside service will be on Monday with graveside military honors conducted by VFW Post 1275. Rev. Tim Benjamin will officiate.
