DONALD E. ROHRBACH Sr., 78, died at 6:08 a.m. October 21, 2006, at Wapak Manor Nursing Home, Wapakoneta, Ohio. He was born March 12, 1928, in Delphos, Ohio to Samuel and Lulu May Bennett Rohrbach, who preceded him in death. On April 20, 1958, he married Helen Rohrbach, who died February 2, 2002. Mr. Rohrbach worked in maintenance for Westinghouse Lima for 23 years. He served in the Army Air Forces from 1945 to 1948. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 370, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1275 and American Legion Post 96. Survivors include a son, Donald (Sanna Sroufe) Rohrbach Jr., of Wapakoneta, Ohio; two grandchildren, Nicole Rohrbach, of Lima, Ohio, and Amanda Rohrbach, of Wapakoneta, Ohio; and a sister, Darlene Ann Rockrider, of Melbourne, Florida. Services will begin at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. Wanda Werking will officiate. Burial will be in St. Matthews Cemetery, Cridersville, Ohio, with a graveside military service by VFW Post 1275. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
