Donald Eugene Williams, Sr.
age 71 of Lima, died at 9:06 A.M., Thursday, May 23, 2013 at his residence. He was born December 26, 1941 in Lima, Ohio; the son of the late Vinson and Lona (Rowe) Williams.
Mr. Williams was a self-employed laborer and a member of the Covenant Ark Baptist Church, Lima.
Survivors include his wife of 24 years, Michelle R. Williams of Lima; children, Donald Jr. (Melissa) Williams; Darlene Vulgmott, Kathy Williams, Gerald Williams, Robert (Temica) Williams, Jennifer (John) Browning, Veronica Hefner, Kristina Williams, Jeremy (Stephanie) Williams, Rachel (Jay) Rushing, and Ronnie (Erika) Williams; several step children; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; sisters, Pauline Williams, Loraine Satcherly, Darlene (Roger) Smith, Susie (Jack) Johnson, and Erma Jean (Gerald) Hadding.
He was preceded in death by a sister and five brothers.
The family will receive friends two hours prior to service at the church on Tuesday, May 28, 2013 from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M.
Funeral service will begin at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at Covenant Ark Baptist Church, East 13th Street and Reese Avenue, Lima.
