Donavan Michael Earl

Donavan Michael Earl, 23, passed away Saturday, February 25, 2023, in Lima, Ohio.

Donavan was born on July 23, 1999, to James E. (Deborah Kaye) Earl.

Donavan attended Shawnee High School and Apollo Career Center. He was an outdoor person. He loved riding his motorcycle, speed skating, and being with family and friends. He also loved spending time with his children.

He is survived by his parents; brother, Devan Earl; sister, Shelby (Jayson) Shively; children, Sophia K. and Isabella M. Earl; stepchildren, Layton and Sutton Marlatt; fiancée, Brooke Marlatt; grandmother, Sharon Wall; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and grandparents.

He was preceded in death by a brother, James William Earl, and grandparents John T. Sr. and Doris Wall.

The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday March 4, 2023, and 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 5, 2023 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, Lima, Ohio.  The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 5, 2023 at the funeral home.  Rev. Neal Whitney will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Toys For Tots.
