DONNA JEANNE HAMPTON, 59, died at 6:20 a.m. April 3, 2005, at her residence. She was born September 7, 1945, in Van Wert, Ohio to Hugh Eugene and Wanda Eutsler Burnett, who preceded her in death. She had been married to Fred Kimmey. On August 13, 1988, she married John Michael Hampton, who survives in Lima, Ohio. Mrs. Hampton worked in housekeeping at Lima Memorial Health System and had worked in the dietary department at Lima Convalescent Home for 23 years. She was a member of Lafayette Missionary Baptist Church. Survivors also include a daughter, Melissa Kay "Missy" (Steve) Armentrout of Lima, Ohio; a son, Brian Eugene (Michelle) Kimmey of Lucasville; two brothers, Homer (Carol) Burnett of Celina, Ohio and Ray (Donna) Burnett of Greenville; three sisters, Mary Miller and Gay Pease, both of Van Wert, Ohio, and Martha (Tom) Melcho of Indianapolis, Indiana; seven grandchildren, Amber Nichole Armentrout, Kaylah Maurie Armentrout, Cara Jane Armentrout, Codie Alan Armentrout, Brian Michael Eugene Kimmey II, Jonathan Brandon Lee Kimmey and Dakotah Destanee Rose Kimmey; her mother-in-law, Rachel Hampton of Lima, Ohio; and a sister-in-law, Sandra Engle of Lima, Ohio. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Steven V. Armentrout II; and her father-in-law, John Frank Hampton. Services will begin at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Lafayette Missionary Baptist Church. The Revs. Terry Brock and Denny Hunter will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. today at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home.
