Donna Price

Donna E. Price, 88, died at 6:15 a.m. May 16, 2008, at St. Charles Mercy Hospital. She was born Aug. 16, 1919, in Wapakoneta to Aaron and Tressa Heimas A u c k e r m a n , who preceded her in death. On June 29, 1938, she married Everett Price, who died Aug. 10, 1989. Mrs. Price had worked as a telephone operator for the Lima Telephone Co. She graduated from St. Gerard High School and was a member of St. Gerard Catholic Church. She was also a member of the Perry Center Grange. Survivors include a son, David Michael (Linda) Price, of Toledo; a son-in-law, Charles Morgan, of Tennessee; three grandchildren, Brian Smith and Mark Smith, both of Grand Bay, Ala., and Jennifer L. (Jason) Suter, of Toledo; and a niece, Mary L. Hanson, of Fostoria. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Barbara Jeanne Morgan, and a sister, Mary M. Line. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Gerard Catholic Church. The Rev. George Blasick will officiate. Burial will be in Gethsemani Cemetery, Lima. Friends may call from 2 to 6 p.m. today at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, where a wake service will begin at 6 p.m. Contributions may be made to St. Charles Mercy Pallative Care Memorial Fund.
