Doris O. Stephens

Doris O. Stephens, 79, of Lima, passed away at 11:25 p.m. on Monday, February 26, 2024, at Lima Memorial Health System. She was born on July 27, 1944, to the late Donald and Opal {Winters} Gray.

Doris retired from the Allen County Humane Society. She loved watching NASCAR racing, football, and rodeos. Above all else, she loved dogs.

She is survived by her children, Ginger (Larry) Rogers, Carl (Susan) Stephens, Carlton (Rita) Stephens, Cherie (Jeff) Butcher, and Pamela (Victor) Stephens; 18 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and brother, Daniel (Sue) Gray.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Teresa Stephens and great-grandson, Caleb Vogt.

A funeral service will begin at 12 p.m. on Saturday, March 2, 2024, at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, Lima. Friends may visit 2 hours prior to the funeral, from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, Lima.

The family asks that all in attendance dress casually.
