Dorothy Ciminillo

DOROTHY L. CIMINILLO, 80, died at 11:43 p.m. July 16, 2006 at St. Rita's Medical Center. She was born on June 10, 1926, in Irondale to Louis and Augusta Davis Valli who preceded her in death. On January 15, 1947, she married Dean J. Ciminillo, who died on April 29, 2004. She was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. She enjoyed cooking and playing Bingo. Survivors include five sons, Tony (Jenny) Ciminillo of Lima, Ohio, Nicholas Ciminillo of Elida, Ohio, Michael (Mary) Ciminillo, Stephen (Misty) Ciminillo and Bill (Gaynita) Ciminillo, all of Lima, Ohio; two daughters, Vickie (Ricardo) Gallegos and JoeyAnn (Charles) Wakefield, of Lima, Ohio; 11 grandchildren, Gina Ciminillo, Vincent Ciminillo, Tiffany Ciminillo, Audreana Gallegos, Elisa Gallegos, Jason Wakefield, Ben Wakefield, Zach Ciminillo, Gabriella Ciminillo, Samantha Ciminillo and Tyler Ciminillo; and great-grandson, Ethan Sargent. She was preceded in death by a sister, Inez F. Heffner; and a stepdaughter, Marie Dooley. Services will begin at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. The Rev. William J. Rose will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Lima, Ohio. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
