Dorothy M (Miehls) Curl

Dorothy Mae Curl, 92, of Lima, passed away on Sunday, December 23, 2018 at 7:35 a.m. at Lima Convalescent Home. She was born on June 12, 1926 in Fort Jennings, OH to the late Arnold and Matilda {VonSossan} Miehls. On October 6, 1946 she married Ira B. Curl, who survives her in Lima.

She is also survived by her children Craig Curl of Lakeview, OH, Karen Gogley of Lima, Deborah (David) Langhals of Columbus Grove, and Lisa (Andy) Sampson of Lima, daughter-in-law Sharon Curl of Lima, 13 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and her brother Don Miehls.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her son Larry Curl, daughter-in-law Linda Curl, brothers Earl and Dick Miehls, and sisters Lucille, Ethel, Hilda, Ruth, and Norma.

Dorothy was a volunteer at Lima Memorial Hospital.

Her family will receive friends on Wednesday, December26, 2018 from 1-6pm at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, Lima.

A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11am on Thursday, December 27, 2018 at St. Gerards Catholic Church, Lima. Burial will follow at Bluelick Cemetery, Lima.
