Dorothy E. "Dottie" Foster,

89, passed away at 8:20 PM on Thursday, March 26, 2015, at her residence in Lima.

She was born on September 27, 1925 to the late William Daniel and Freda Leona (Keeler) Shelley. On February 12, 1972 she married Fred Foster who preceded her in death. Her loving husband preceded her in death on February 2, 2002.

Dottie worked at Ex-Cell-O Corporation and retired in 1984 after 30 years of service. She participated in the Tamarac Ladies Golf League. She was a former member of the Eagles Aerie #370, the Elks, VFW 1275 Auxilary and the Senior Citizens Services of Lima. Her enjoyment was her family, golf, making stained glass lamps, painting, and friends. Dottie was a member of Elida St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Elida. She will be sadly missed by her loving girls, family and special friend, Elaine Miller, Lima.

Dottie is survived by daughters, Jill Rae Hunt, Denton, MD and Joy Dee (John) Gross, Delphos. Dottie had seven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren, three step children and eight step grandchildren; brother in-law, Richard Sneary of Port Clinton and one brother Halden Keeler (Bonnie) Shelley, Lima.

She is preceded in death by her brother, Ralph Shelley, sister, Eleanor Sneary and a son-in-law, Steve Hunt.

A memorial service will begin at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, April 1st at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home where friends may call from 12 - 2:00 P.M. Rev. Paul Scannell will officiate. A private burial will be held in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lima, Ohio.
