90, died at 4:48 AM on Monday, June 18, 2018, at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima, Ohio.

Dorothy was born on February 26, 1928, in Ottoville, OH to the late Clem and Bertha {Weber}Honigford. On June 25, 1949, in Ottoville, Ohio, she married Eugene V. “Gene” Fuerst who preceded her in death on January 2, 2010.

Dorothy loved to play cards and enjoyed bowling. She would bowl every week for the last 30+ years. She was a big Cleveland Indians fan, attending spring training in Arizona for several years. She loved to travel and has visited all 50 states. She was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church and a former member of the Women’s VFW Auxiliary in Ottoville.

She is survived by four children, Patricia (Dennis) Koester, of Westerville, OH, Daniel (Judy) Fuerst, of Amherst, OH, Virginia (Robert) Livermore, of Sidney, OH and Michael (Michelle) Fuerst, of Elida, OH; grandchildren, Andrew Koester (Jaimi), Sarah (Steve) Howell, Diana Koester, Aaron (Jenny) Fuerst, Kristy Fuerst, Melissa (Aaron) Jones,  Barry Livermore, David Livermore, and Victoria Roesser; 11 great Grandchildren, brother Richard Honigford, and sisters Marilyn Walsh and Betty Wannemacher.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Gene, grandson Michael Koester, and brothers Paul, Harold (Margie), Gerald (Carol), and Joseph Honigford.

The family will receive friends from 2-4pm and 6-8pm on Thursday, June 21, 2018 Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, Ohio.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10am on Friday, June 22, 2018 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, Lima, Ohio with Fr. Kent Kaufman and Fr. Dennis Walsh officiating.

Entombment will be in Gethsemani Cemetery.
