DOROTHY JEAN HELSER, 80, of Mount Zion, Ga., formerly of Lima, died at 6:11 p.m. Oct. 27, 2005, at her residence, following an extended illness. She was born March 19, 1925, in St. Johns to Herbert Dallas and Mary Chloe Lotz Bogart, who preceded her in death. She married William Edward Helser, who preceded her in death. Mrs. Helser retired as a legal secretary. She was a member of the Jehovah's Witnesses Congregation. Her husband had been a partner with his brother, Robert A. Helser, in Helser & Helser Architect Associates, Lima. Survivors include two daughters, Margaret Christine (Donald James) Cook of Mount Zion, Ga., and Lisa Ann (Timothy Scott) Bland of Flintstone, Ga.; a brother, Lowell Bogart of Port Townsend, Wash.; a brother-in-law, Robert A. Helser; and six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Graveside services will begin at 1 p.m. Friday in Shawnee Cemetery. Donald Williams will officiate.
