Dorothy M. Hopkins, 87 of Lima, Ohio died at 2:40 A.M. Thursday, July 12, 2012, at Shawnee Manor Nursing Home
She was born Wednesday, June 17, 1925 in Marion, Ohio, She was the daughter of the late Walter Sanderson and the late Flora (Riley) Sanderson. On September 23, 1945 she married Noble Hopkins and he died on September 5, 1969.
She was employed as a secretary at Westinghouse Electric Motor. an avid crafter having done shows for 15+ years; member of Lima Memorial hospital Aux.; & member of Westinghouse Veterans Assoc. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church
Surviving are a son, Gary Hopkins of Lima, OH, daughter, Charis (Beryl) Benedict of Cridersville, OH a brother, Robert (Marilyn) Sanderson of Marion, OH and a sister, Marilyn Beckley of Marion, OH.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Walter , Harold and Richard Sanderson and a sister, JoAnn Harrington.
There will be no visitation or public funeral service.
.Interment will be in Preston Cemetery, Alger, OH.
