Dorothy Ann Huffer, 82 of Elida, Ohio died on Saturday, November 12, 2011, at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima.
She was born Friday, March 22, 1929 in Lima, to Elvin and Hazel (Carolus) Estes who preceded her in death. On October 7, 1946 in Lima she married Winston N. Huffer who died March 17, 2009. Her fiance Ralph Ward of Lima, survives.
She was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening. She loved spending time with her grandkids. A very good hearted woman who was very religious.
Surviving are sons, Walter Brent Huffer of Elida and Bradley Wynn Huffer of Lima also surviving our four grandsons, Walter "Butch" Huffer, of Lima, Randy (Alana) Huffer of Elida, David Lee Huffer of Lima and Michael Martin of Lima five great-grandchildren: Bridgett Huffer, Alex Huffer, Cody Huffer, Jennifer Huffer and Lauren Huffer.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, William "Bill" Estes and Elvin Estes, and two sisters, Betty Moore and Linda Stanley and a daughter-in-law Mary Huffer.
Services will begin at 11:00 AM on Tuesday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home with the The Rev. Dennis Ward officiating. Interment will be in Sugarcreek Cemetery,
