Dorothy L. Neu,
93 of Lima, died at 1:30 AM Thursday, August 23, 2012, at Shawnee Manor Nursing Home.
Born Sunday, August 10, 1919 in Allen Co, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Glenn and Sarah (Dielman) Murray. On January 15, 1938 she married Jesse F. Neu and he died September 28, 1994.
Mrs. Neu worked in the office at Diesel-Wemmer-Gilbert for 8 years and as parish secretary at Zion Lutheran Church for over 20 years before retiring in 1990.
She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church for over 60 years and was a member of Ruth Bible Study, Altar Guild and Home Communion. Also, a member of Senior Citizens of Lima, AARP, Cup Pantry and Lima Memorial Auxiliary.
Survivors include two sons; Thomas M.(Judy) Neu and Todd M. (Trudy) Neu both of Lima six grand children; four Step-grandchildren seven great-grandchildren and three step grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers; Ralph Murray and Robert Murray and two sisters; Helen Fisher and Anna Neu also a step-son Dick Neu and a step-granddaughter Cheri Neu.
There will be no visitation. Memorial services will be held at Zion Lutheran Church on August 27, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Kent Wilson officiating.
Burial of the cremated remains will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
