DOROTHY E. ?Dot? MYERS, 81, died at 4:15 p.m. on December 24, 2010, at St. Rita?s Medical Center in Lima, Ohio. She was born March 30, 1929, in Kenton, Ohio, to Elwood Decker and Mary Collins Decker, who have preceded her in death. She married Paul ?Floyd? Homan, who died January 26, 1979. Mrs. Myers was a homemaker. She enjoyed interior decorating. She had worked at the Ford Motor Co. Lima Engine Plant in Lima, Ohio, the Arrow Motel in Delphos, Ohio, and the Westside Kmart in Lima, Ohio. Survivors include a son, Scott (Diane) Myers, of Choctaw, Okla-homa; four sisters, Mary Isaacson, of Winder, Georgia, Betty Britt, of Lima, Ohio and Thelma Brown, of Lima, Ohio, and Barbara Goodwin, of Wapakoneta, Ohio; a brother, Richard Strathearn, of Dayton, Ohio; two grandchildren, Jamie Hillin, of Katy, Texas, and Philip Myers, of Brenham, Texas; and a great-grand-child, Hunter Myers, of Brenham, Texas. She was preceded in death by a brother, Harold McLaughlin; and a sister, Ann Decker. Services will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, Ohio. The Rev. Mark Tisch will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lima, Ohio. Friends may call from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 28, 2010 at the funeral home.
