Dorothy M. Randall

Dorothy M. Randall, 90, passed away at 6:51 a.m. on Monday, February 22, 2021, at Lima Convalescent Home.  Dorothy was born on October 14, 1920, in Lima, Ohio, to Lawrence B. and S. Evelyn (Dudgeon) Randall.

Dorothy was a member of Lima Grace United Methodist Church for 65 years; where she was a member of the Chapel Class, the Christian Comrades Class, and the United Methodist Women; in which she held several offices.  She was also a member of Lima Trinity United Methodist Church for many years.  She worked for the United Telephone Company in the office for 28 years before retiring in 1986.  She was a member of Lydia Guild, Hawthorne Club, Friends of the Library, and Telephone Pioneers.  She was a Red Cross volunteer, a volunteer at Lima Memorial Hospital and a member of the Auxiliary.

She is survived by her cousins, Michael Griffo, Barbara Crowe, Tom Griffo, Paul Griffo  all of Lima, and Linda Martyna of Dublin, OH.  She was preceded in death by her parents.

The family will receive friends from 10 – 11 a.m. on Thursday, February 25, 2021 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home.   The funeral service will follow at 11 a.m.  Rev. John Foster will officiate.  Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery, Lima, OH.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church, 301 W. Market St., Lima, OH 45801.
