Dorthy Mae Roush , 83, died at 4:15 p.m. March 7, 2009, at her residence. She was born February 22, 1926, in Lima to Homer Floyd and Myra D. Morris Redd, who preceded her in death. On February 3, 1946, in Ohio she married William Ralph ?Bill? Roush, who survives in Lima, Ohio. Mrs. Roush was a homemaker. She had worked with the Shawnee Local School District and Sylvania City School District as an administrative assistant. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Lima. She was a member of Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks Lodge 54, Lima. She volunteered at Lima Memorial Health System. She liked to garden, play cards and golf. She loved to cook and enjoyed being with her friends and family. Survivors include three sons, William Thomas ?Tom? (Mary Lou) Roush, of Lima, Ohio, John M. (Mary Pat) Roush, of Lima, Ohio, and Charles R. Roush, of Hilliard, Ohio; a daughter, Sarah Beth (Douglas) First, of Naperville, Illinois; a brother, Stephen Redd, of Arvada, Colorado; a sister, Eloise Neuman, of Spartansburg, S.Carolina; and six grandchildren, Dr. Tom Roush, Will Roush, Wendy (Clifford T.) Ellis, Patricia Roush, Ryan First, and Lauren First. She was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Jo Shaffner; and a son, James R. Roush. Services will begin at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Trinity United Methodist Church. The Rev. Phyllis R. Fetzer will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lima.
