Dorothy Singleton

DOROTHY ANN SINGLETON, 79, died at 6:40 a.m. December 8, 2005, at Lima Convalescent Home. She was born April 25, 1926, in Lima, Ohio to Lawrence Dickinsheets and Laura S. Gnagi, who preceded her in death. On May 25, 1947, she married Jay Robert Singleton, who died July 3, 1996. Mrs. Singleton worked in sales at Lazarus for 16 years. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. She was a 1944 graduate of Lima Central High School and attended Bowling Green State University. Survivors include two sons, Chris A. (Sue) Singleton and Timothy J. Singleton, both of Lima, Ohio; and a grandson, Seth Singleton of Lima, Ohio. Services will begin at 10 a.m. Monday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. The Rev. David Harris will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
