90, died at 12:45 AM on Saturday, October 31, 2015, at Lost Creek Care Center in Lima, Ohio.

Dorothy Mae was born on October 7, 1925, in Cleveland, Ohio, to the late Elmer Will and Irene (Tischler) Will. On Saturday, September 14, 1946, in Cleveland, Ohio, she married Andrew F. "Andy" Szippl. He survives in Lima.

Dorothy was a member of St. Rose Catholic Church.

She is survived by a son, David (Joann) Szippl, of Sidney, OH, a daughter, Janet (Gary) Swallow, of Lima, OH, a son, Rev. Richard Szippl, SVD, of Nagoya, Japan, a daughter, Mary (Mitchell) Pitts, of Ada, OH, a daughter, Margaret (Mike) Madigan, of Harrod, OH, a son, Bill (Jeanne) Szippl, of Ada, OH, a son, Tim (Susanne) Szippl, of Overland Park, KS, a son, John (Rosie) Szippl, of Harrod, OH; one brother, Russell Will, of Ravenna, OH and one sister, Marilyn Novak, of Cleveland, OH; fourteen grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren also many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by: a son, Steven Szippl, three brothers, Robert Will and Ronald Will and Kenneth Will; two sisters, Lois Crowe and Carol Younkin.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. on Tuesday, November 3, 2015 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, Ohio. A Parish Wake will be held at 8 P.M.

A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:30 A.M. on Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at St. Rose Catholic Church in Lima, OH. Father David Ross will officiate along with Father Richard Szippl.

Interment will be in Gethsemani Cemetery, Lima, Ohio.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Rita's Hospice or charity of your choice.

The family would like to express their thanks to the Lost Creek Care Center and St. Rita's Hospice for their services in helping Dorothy and the family make her transition with love and dignity.
