Earl J. Warner, 83, died at 5:45 p.m. February 9, 2008, at Lima Memorial Health System. He was born December 1, 1924, in Lima, Ohio to Arthur J. and Ollie Barker Warner, who preceded him in death. On June 14, 1947, in Beaverdam, Ohio he married Helen Lamb Warner, who survives in Lima, Ohio. Mr. Warner worked at Neon Productions Inc. for more than 30 years. He then retired from Terry and Jack Sign Co. He was a family man and was an avid woodworker. He served in the Army from March 29, 1943, to March 15, 1946. Survivors include a son, Richard (Joy) Warner, of Bluffton, Ohio; and three grandsons, a granddaughter and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Edward Warner and Norman Warner. Services will begin at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. Pastor Brandon Williams will officiate. Entombment will be in Memorial Park Mausoleum, Lima, Ohio. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
