Rev. Eddie Gene Wireman , 70, passed away on June 14, 2022, at his residence.
Eddie was born on March 8, 1952 in Lima, Ohio, to Joe M. and Sadie (Ballew) Wireman. On June 24, 1970 he married Donna (Stamper) Wireman, who survives in Lima.
Eddie a member of Cridersville Independent Baptist Church in Cridersville, where he pastored for 36 years. He taught classes for Kentucky Technical College at the Ford plant. He was a HAM Radio operator, a former member of Labor Local #329, and also enjoyed playing his guitar. Above all he loved to preach and sing God’s word.
Along with his wife, he is survived by his children; Nancy Wireman , Dawn (Jason) Myers; Diane (Kevin) Fisher all of Harrod; grandchildren; Jared (Kiara Daniels) Arnold, Blake Myers, Preston and Alexia Fisher; great-grandchild; Sophie May Arnold; siblings: Roger (Pam) Wireman, Danny (Karen) Wireman, Linda (Richard) McKeever, Brenda Lake, Joe Wireman Jr., Terry (Herbie) Trusty all of Lima; brother-in-law Walter Golden Jr; and 95 nieces and nephews, including great and great-great.
Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his siblings, Alice Wireman, Marvin Wireman, and Teresa Golden, and a brother-in-law Scott Lake.
The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, June 16, 2022 at Cridersville Independent Baptist Church, Cridersville, Ohio. A funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. on Friday, June 17, 2022 with visitation 1 hour prior. Rev. Randy Nichols will officiate. Burial will follow at Fairmount Cemetery, Uniopolis.
