Edith Latvala

Edith Ruth Latvala, Edith Ruth Latvala, 73, died at 2:18 p.m. April 10, 2009, at Lima Memorial Health System. She was born May 1, 1935, in Ewen, Michigan, to Arthur and Carrie Godfrey Streeter, who preceded her in death. On April 24, 1952, in Bergland, Michigan, she married Donald ?Buck? Latvala, who survives in Lima. Mrs. Latvala was a homemaker. Survivors also include a son, Steve (Norma) Latvala, of Cato, Wisconsin; a daughter, Donna (Steve) Maki, of Lima, Ohio; eight grandchildren, Lori, Barbara, Steve, Don, Nick, Nancy, Jay and Jessie; and 11 great-grandchildren, Kirstin, Justina, McKenzie, Tristan, Taylor, Mason, Kida, Raigan, Payton, Morgan and Brooklyn. She was preceded in death by a brother, Arthur Streeter; and a sister, Beatrice Livingston. In honoring her wishes, there will be no funeral service or viewing.
