Edna B. Hunter 94, died at 11:10 p.m. September 28, 2009, at her residence. She was born January 3, 1915, in Lima, Ohio to Ortha ?Orrie? and Bertha Woerner Barr, who preceded her in death. On June 21, 1937, she married Charles M. Hunter, who died February 19, 1999. Mrs. Hunter attended Florida State College, Battle Creek College and Ohio Northern University. She was a member of Market Street Presbyterian Church. She had been a Girl Scout leader. She was a charter member of the Indian Lake Yacht Club and a 25-year member of the Shawnee Country Club. Survivors include two daughters, Margery Hunter Jansen, of Hartland, Wisconsin, and Beverly H. (James Joseph) Emmenecker, of Perrysburg, Ohio; eight grandchildren, Julie Elizabeth (Steven) Krueger, Anthony Charles (Regina) Jansen, Julia Ann Emmenecker, Jacqueline Emmenecker, J.J. Emmenecker, John Hunter Emmenecker, Jane Emmenecker and Brad (Lauren) Hunter; and three great-grandchildren, Daniel S. Krueger, Cora Hunter and Jennifer Jansen. She was preceded in death by a son, Charles J. Hunter; two brothers, Ortha ?Orrie? Barr Jr. and Robert O. Barr; and two sisters, Ann Kelley and Catherine Barr. Services will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. The Rev. Shane Crites will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
