Edna Howard Werling

Edna M. Howard Werling, 79, died at 5:10 p.m. Sept. 9, 2010, at St. Rita?s Medical Center. She was born Nov. 8, 1930, in McGuffey to Kenneth and Audrey Howard, who preceded her in death. On Feb. 9, 1957, she married James E. Werling, who died Feb. 11, 1999. Mrs. Werling was an avid sports fan. She was a member of American Legion Post 96 Auxiliary and was a former member of the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 199, Lima. She worked for more than 40 years at Ex-Cell-O as an inspector and seven years with Van Dyne-Crotty. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Survivors include two sons, Tim (Shelly) Werling and Scott (Lisa) Werling, both of Lima; five grandchildren, Brittney Werling, Courtney Werling, Abbey Werling, T.J. Werling and Cecelia Werling; and a great-grandchild, Cameron Werling. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home.
