Edna Phyllis White
89, of Lima passed away on Tuesday, February 3, 2015, at St. Rita's Medical Center after a brief illness.

Edna was born on May 1, 1925, in Lima, to the late Birt Iiams and Sarah (Ingmire) Iiams. On Saturday, July 17, 1943, she married Gerald White who survives in Lima.

She is survived by: two daughters, Sharon (Thomas) Sweigart, of Wapakoneta, OH, and Susan (Jon) Young and a son, Gary White of Lima, OH; four grandchildren, Yvonne (Chris) Sorensen, Sarah Hartford, Jonna Young, and Jacqueline (Kelly) Straub; six great grandchildren, Kelsey Skinner, Alyssa Skinner; Emily Skinner, Kellyn Straub, Harrison Sorensen, and Stephanie Sorensen; a sister, Louise Holl, of Broken Arrow, OK.

She is preceded in death by: four brothers, Elmer, Lewis, Frank and Tom Iiams; two sisters, Helen Shrider and Lou Moore; two half brothers, Ray and Harold Richards; and one half sister Bethel Smith.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Friday, February 6, 2015 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, Ohio.

A funeral service will begin at 1:00 PM on Friday, February 6, 2015 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, OH. Rev. Dr. Timothy White will officiate.

Interment will be in St. Matthews Cemetery, Lima, Ohio.
