83, died at 8:20 AM on Monday, June 16, 2014, at his residence in Lima, Ohio.

Edwin was born on May 13, 1931, in Hardin County, Ohio, to the late Edwin Herrod Danner Sr. and Gladys B. (Tuttle) Danner-Edgington.

On October 05, 1953, in Harrod, Ohio, he married Nan Lee Brown. She survives in Lima.

He was formerly employed at Artcraft, Clark Equipment and the Allen County Engineers Office. He retired from Top Line Express. He was the recipient of the Top Line Express #1 Owner/Operator award. He also worked for W.H. Fay Co. and Central Transport. He was a member of Central Christian Church.

He is survived by: two daughters, Carolyn Kay (Stephen) King, of Ruckersville, VA, and Dianna Lynn (Steven) Cottrell; three sons, Edwin Herrod (Tamara Jo) Danner III, Stephen Howard Danner, and Danny Lee (Jennifer) Danner; six grandchildren; three great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by: two brothers, Curtis Wayne Danner and Tobias Ray Danner

The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Monday, June 23, 2014 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, Ohio.

A funeral service will begin at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, OH. with Rev. Mark Tisch officiating.

Interment will be in Harrod Cemetery, Harrod, Ohio.
