Eileen Anderson

Eileen Carol Anderson 70, died at 5:20 a.m. April 11, 2010, at Lima Convalescent Home. She was born May 3, 1939, in Lima, Ohio to Ernest Charles and Ruby Gladys Secrist Craver, who preceded her in death. On October 18, 1959, she married Donald Gene Anderson, who survives in Lima, Ohio. Mrs. Anderson had worked for Southside Savings & Loan. She was a member of the First Assembly of God, Lima, and was a former Sunday school teacher. She was an auxiliary volunteer at St. Rita?s Medical Center and a former volunteer at Johnny Appleseed Parks. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and an angel among us. The family will miss her dearly. Survivors include a son, Tod (Kim) Anderson, of Florida; a daughter, Tana (Willie) Porter, of Lima, Ohio; four sisters, Joan Hunter, of Bluffton, Ohio, Shirley (George) Geiser, of Toledo, Ohio, Patricia Craver, of St. Mary?s, Ohio, and Donna Alderton, of Celina, Ohio; and eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Services will begin at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. Pastor Randy Davis will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
