Eileen D. Mullen,

86, passed away at 7:35 AM on Saturday, August 08, 2015, at Lost Creek Care Center in Lima, Ohio.

Eileen was born on Thursday, January 17, 1929, in Lima, Ohio, to the late Benjamin H. and Gladys Loraine (Githens) Bice. On Friday, February 10, 1956, in Ohio, she married Robert J. Mullen who preceded her in death.

Mrs. Mullen was retired from St. Rita's Medical Center as a Therapeutic Dietary Technician. She was also a member of St. Gerard's Catholic Church. She was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary. She also volunteered at Lost Creek Care Center, St. Rita's Medical Center and Lima Convalescent Nursing Home.

She is survived by: son, John David (Raeann) Mullen, Fort Wayne, IN; daughter, Loraine Renee (Mark) Carey, Lima; brother, Fred E. Bice, Columbus; four grandchildren, Trenton Levi Carey, Patrick John (Leah) Mullen, Cleveland, OH, Anthony David Mullen, Fort Wayne, IN, and Raechel Elizabeth Mullen, Fort Wayne, IN;

She is preceded in death by: brothers, Donald, Howard, Charles, Harold, Ray E. and Dale M. Bice.

The family will receive friends on Monday, August 10, 2015 from 2 to 4 P.M. and from 6 to 8 P.M. at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, Ohio.

A funeral service will begin at 10 A.M. on Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, Ohio. Interment will be in Allentown Cemetery, Allentown, Ohio.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Rita's Hospice.
