Elaine Callahan

Elaine Callahan, 72, passed away at 3:44 p.m. on Wednesday, February 9, 2022, at Baptist Health Floyd, in New Albany, IN.

Elaine was born on September 18, 1949, in Beavercreek, Ohio, to Robert and Helen (Borck) Williams.  On June 20, 1970 she married Dennis Callahan, who preceded her in death on December 12, 2013.

Elaine was a graduate of Beavercreek High School and retired from AEP in 2001 after 30 + years. She was caring, compassionate and loved by all. However, Elaine’s world revolved around her family. Especially her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by a son Mike (Amy) Callahan; a daughter Lori Callahan; and grandchildren Alyson Callahan and Eric Bridges; and great-grandchildren Clayton and Baker Bridges.

Along with her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a brother Steven Williams.

The family will receive friends from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, Lima, Ohio.  A funeral service will follow at 2 p.m.  Rev. Larry Molaski will officiate.  Burial will follow at Ward Cemetery, Lima.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The American Heart Association.
