Eleanor L. "Doad" Gross, 94 of Lima, Ohio died on Friday, November 11, 2011, at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima, Ohio.
Born Tuesday, November 6, 1917 in Lima, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Howard Ream and the late Ilo Beatrice (Faudree) Ream. She was the wife of the late Lester Gross.
She was a lifetime member of South Side Christian Church and a member of the Mary Martha Sunday School Class. She was a very giving person.
Surviving are: a son, James C. Shafer of Hartford, CT, a daughter, Nelda Sue Shafer- Basinger -Ludwig (Larry) of Lima, OH, a granddaughter, Sharlyn Sue Smith of Marysville, Ohio, four great grandchildren, Sara Basinger, Kari Basinger, Dean Smith, Jillian Smith, a great great grandchild, Zoey Michelle Rider, and a sister, Nelda Smith of Lima, OH.
. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lima, OH.
