Eldora Etzler,
90, passed away at 4:30 AM on Thursday, March 31, 2016, at Lost Creek Care Center in Lima.
Eldora was born on Sunday, February 21, 1926, in Decatur, Indiana, to the late Herbert and Eulalia (Gallmeyer) Kirchner. On Sunday, August 15, 1954, she married Marvin Etzler who preceded her in death December, 7, 2014.
Eldora was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Lima and for many years did their gardening. She was also their former secretary. She was always sending cards to family and friends.
She is survived by: sons, John (Jodie) Etzler, Beavercreek, OH and Mark (Carla) Etzler, Angola, IN; grandchildren, Hailey Mahan, Zachary (Brittany) Etzler, Maggie (Pat) Mahan, Rachel Werner, Cade Donaldson, Erica (Justin) Roberts, Patrick (Holly) Heller and Eden (Bryan) Bradley; great grandchildren, Dominic, Cailyn, Tristan, Gavin, Remington, and Braiden and sister-in-law, Donna Etzler.
She is preceded in death by: sisters, Vernice Fawbush and Ardena Burke; sister-in-laws, Pauline Etzler, Dorothy Korte and Margaret Bieberich; brother-in-laws, Gene Fawbush and Don Burke.
The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 AM on Monday, April 04, 2016 with the funeral service to follow at 11 AM at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Lima. Rev. Michael A. Phillips will officiate. Interment will be in Decatur Cemetery, Decatur, Indiana at 2:30 PM on Monday.
