Eleanor Ruff

ELEANOR J. RUFF, 86, died at 10:24 p.m. June 3, 2004, at Lima Convalescent Home. She was born Dec. 10, 1917, in Lima to Frank and Phoebe Davis, who preceded her in death. In 1944 she married Melvin S. Ruff, who died Feb. 1, 1989. Mrs. Ruff was a homemaker. She had worked for a short time at Commercial Blue Print. She was a member of Central Christian Church for many years. She loved gardening and cats. Survivors include her caregiver, Betty Frail of Lima, and many nieces and nephews. Services will begin at 1 p.m. Monday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. Wanda Werking will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
