Elizabeth Lou Bush

Elizabeth (Beth) Lou Bush passed away on January 5, 2022 with her family by her side.  She was born on November 19, 1933 in Lima, Ohio to Faris and Eda Pepple.

Elizabeth graduated from Waynesfield High School in 1951 and was employed as a nurse at Lima Memorial Hospital and Oral Surgery Associates, which she retired from.  Elizabeth was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.  She enjoyed spending time with her husband, Brooks watching harness racing and other sporting events.  Time spent with family and friends was very special to her.  She was a wonderful cook avid reader and was a devout Christian.

Elizabeth married Brooks Edgar Bush on April 18, 1953.  They were happily married for 65 years.  Elizabeth is survived by her sons, Mark (Shelly – fiancée) Bush, Tim (Jackie) Bush, and Todd (Amy) Bush, all of Lima, Ohio; her daughter, Alicia (Chip) Bush of Continental, Ohio; nine grandchildren, Justin Bush, Jamin (Lindsey) Bush, Whitney Bush, Rachel Bush, Rena Bush, Jerod Bush, Jacob (Brigid) Bush, Jenna Bush, and Holly Watt; and two great-grandchildren, Ruby and Josie Lou Bush; sister, Mary (Mike) Shaw.

Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents, Faris and Eda Pepple, husband, Brooks Bush, sister, Nancy (Walt) Senney, and son, Craig Bush.

A memorial service will be held at Cridersville United Methodist Church on Tuesday, January 11, 2022, at 1:00 p.m.  Rev. Nola Heilman will officiate.  A visitation will be held prior to the service at the church from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.  Burial will follow the service at Memorial Park.

Memorial contributions may be made to Lima Convalescent Home or Cridersville United Methodist Church.
