Elizabeth ?Libby? Hennen, 82, of Akron, formerly of Lima, Ohio, died at 10:25 p.m. October 4, 2008, at the Merriman Nursing Home, Akron, Ohio. She was born January 30, 1926, in Washington, Pennsylvania, to Glenn and Grace Kellerman Bennington, who preceded her in death. On October 1, 1950, she married Robert Hennen, who died June 29, 1978. Mrs. Hennen retired as an account manger from Tri Star Community Counseling. She had also worked at several doctors? offices. She was a member of Westside United Methodist Church. She was an auxiliary member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and American Legion. She was an avid bridge player (life master) and enjoyed reading. Survivors include a daughter, Janet (Marc) Wolff, of Akron, Ohio, a son, Robert L. (Lori) Hennen, of Springfield, Ohio; seven grandchildren, Sean Hennen and Brian (Heather) Hennen, both of Indianapolis, Indiana, Kelly (Larry) Spencer and Ben Hennen, both of Springfield, Ohio, Mary Beth (Jim) Czerniak, of Bowling Green, Ohio, and Andrew Wolff and Christy Wolff, both of Fairlawn; two great-grandchildren, Cody and Christian Spencer; two brothers, Joseph (Mary Ann) Bennington, of Chicago, and Glenn (Hazel) Bennington, of Washington, Pennsylvania; and a sister, Helen Rohm, of Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Services will begin at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. Pastor Marc Wolff will officiate. Interment of the cremains will be at a later date in Woodlawn Cemetery.
