Elizabeth Lucas

ELIZABETH LOUISE "BABY GIRL" LUCAS, 9, died at 6 p.m. February 27, 2006, at Children's Hospital, Columbus, Ohio, following a six-year battle with leukemia. She was born August 16, 1996, in Jacksonville, N.Carolina, to James Thomas and Bobbi Jo Triplett Lucas. Her father and stepmother, Jodi L. Grove, both survive in Oakwood, Ohio. Her mother survives in Delphos, Ohio. Elizabeth was in the third grade at Franklin Elementary School, Delphos, Ohio. Survivors also include a brother, Xiaver Lucas at home; a sister, Cheyanne Lucas at home; maternal grandparents, Hollie and Sue Triplett of Lima, Ohio; paternal grandparents, James and Laura Lucas of Lima, Ohio; two aunts, Millie Lucas of Lima, Ohio and Debra (Dan) Tallman of New York; and five uncles, William (Rebecca) Lucas of Naples, Italy, Robert (Marylynn) Lucas and Kenneth (Patricia) Lucas, both of Lima, Ohio, Richard Triplett of Elida, Ohio and Tony (Dawn) Triplett of Columbus, Ohio. She was preceded in death by a grandmother, Elizabeth Louise Triplett. Services will begin at 10 a.m. Friday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. Pastor Richard Cook will officiate. Burial will be in Gethsemani Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
