Elizabeth was born on November 4, 1923 in Pennsylvania, to the late Raymond Delmar Irvin and Frieda (Duerr) Irvin. In March, 1945, she married Donald Lyle Metzger Sr. He preceded her in death on December 19, 2009.
She was a homemaker who enjoyed playing Scrabble and loved her family.
She is survived by her sons, Raymond Metzger, Lyle (Peggy) Metzger, Allen Metzger, and Neil (Neli) Metzger, a daughter, Faythe Metzger; grandchildren, Neil Metzger Jr., Donald Metzger, Mariah Metzger, Kathleen Metzger, Anita Metzger, Adam Metzger, James Metzger, Matthew Metzger, and Beau Breon; 12 great grandchildren; a half-sister, Ruth Larcomb and half-brother, Otto Benau.
She was preceded in death by 7 siblings.
There will be no visitation.
Interment will be in Marion Cemetery at a later date.
