Elizabeth A. Overholtz, 82 of Lima, Ohio died at 3:23 am on Thursday, March 10, 2011, at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima, Ohio in Lima, Ohio.
Born Sunday, March 3, 1929 in Lima, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Albert C. Miorin and the late Irene F. Bright Miorin. She was the wife of William J. Overholtz.
She was a member of St. Rose Catholic Church. She liked her dog Boomer, and loved nature and spending time with her family. She had retired after 10 years as secretary at St. Charles Catholic Church.
Surviving are sons, William J. (Marge) Overholtz Jr. of E. Falmouth, MA and Dave (Melissa) Overholtz of Lima, OH, daughters, Jenny (Joe) Guagenti of Elida, OH and Trish (Tim) Meier of Lima, OH.
Also surviving are Twelve Grandchildren and Nineteen Great Grandchildren.
She was predeceased by brother, Rev. Albert C. Miorin, sisters, Alice Lautzenheiser and Helen Fraunfelter.
A Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Monday, March 14th at St. Rose Catholic Church, Lima, Ohio with the Rev. J. Norbert Howe officiating. Interment will be in Gethsemani Cemetery, Lima, OH.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Sunday, March 13, 2011, at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home with a Parish Wake service at 7:30pm, Memorial contributions may be sent to St. Rose Catholic Church or St. Judes HospitaL.
