Elizabeth "Sue" (Moore) Mangin Schoonover,
68 of Lima, Ohio died on Tuesday, May 24, 2011, at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima, Ohio in Lima, Ohio.
Born Tuesday, May 26, 1942 in Lima, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Paul A. Moore and the late Martha E. Wright Moore.
She married Don Mangin on August 13, 1977. She married William Schoonover on July 7 1990. She was a member of St. Rose Catholic Church. She attended St. Rose Catholic School and was a 1960 graduate of Lima Central Catholic High School and belonged to a monthly dinner club with her school mates. Mrs Schoonover had retired from the City Loan Bank after almost 21 years as an executive secretary. She was a member of the Sabres Gun Club, the NRA and the Moose Ladies Auxiliary Chapter 281-Port Clinton, Ohio. She loved all her dogs and cats, professional football and especially Notre Dame football. She also enjoyed playing eucher and loved being with her family and friends.
Surviving is a brother, Michael T. (Anne) Moore of Manassas, VA, and a sister, Catherine Moore of Lima, OH. a nephew, Evan N. (Jana) Moore of Spokan, WA., a Niece, Meagan (Jim) Boyd of Swickley, PA., a Niece, Rachael (Eddie) Tice, of Huntingtown, Ma. four great nephews, Vincent Moore, Max Moore, Alex Tice, and James Tice, and two great nieces, Nora Tice and Elie Boyd.
Memorial contributions may be sent to Allen County Humane Society .
There will be no visitation or service.
