ELLEN GRACE BODEY, 86, died at 2:01 p.m. April 9, 2007, at her residence. She was born March 26, 1921, in Pandora, Ohio to David and Elma Schumacher Luginbill, who preceded her in death. On November 2, 1940, she married Paul Bodey, who died October 15, 1988. Mrs. Bodey had worked for the Singer Co., working in sales and sewing. She had also been an Avon representative. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church. She had been a 4-H adviser. She and her husband were co-founders of the local Ohio Ostomy Support Group, where she had been secretary. She loved to sew and garden. Survivors include two daughters, Kathy (Paul) Mehlenbeck, of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and Donna (Richard) Clarkson, of Delphos, Ohio; a son, David (Dianne) Bodey, of Grand Haven, Michigan; two sisters, Clorinda (Bernard) Green and Treva Elsea, both of Findlay, Ohio; a sister-in-law, Kathryn Luginbill, of Pandora, Ohio; and five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister, Anna Marie Gallant, a brother, Paul Luginbill; and a grandson, Kurt Mehlenbeck. Services will begin at 11 a.m. Thursday at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Lakewood and Pears avenues. Pastor Michael A. Phillips will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
