Elmer "Ed" G. Branham
81, died at 9:50 PM on Sunday, October 8, 2017, at Shawnee Manor Nursing Home in Lima, Ohio.

Elmer was born on November 12, 1935, in Davisport, Martin County, Kentucky, to the late Elias Branham and Marie Ada (Penix) Branham. On Monday, October 18, 1954, he married Janice (Williams) Branham whom survives in Gomer. They had been married for 63 years.

Elmer was raised in the coal mining camps of West Virginia, and his heart always held a special place for his home. He worked in Mansfield and Cleveland, OH and Columbus, before entering the Air Force in July 1951. He went to the Air Craft Welding School in Rantoul, ILL., and served in Guam and Germany from 1952-1955. He was a mechanic and contractor that worked on the Dulles Airport runway. He was owner/operator of Branham trucking. Elmer loved working on his trucks and mowers, listening to music and making people happy.

He is survived by six children, Rex (Sherry) Branham, of Edon, , Linette (Roger) Roberts, of Gomer, Randy (Amanda) Branham, of Middle Point, Rick (Mindy) Branham, of Waynesfield, and Laurette (Andy) Schimpf, of Gomer, Chris (Elaina) Branham, of TN , and fifteen grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren and one on the way, two brothers, Burl (Yvonne) Branham, Elias Branham Jr., a sister, Darlene Bragg, a sisters-in-law, Emma Branham; and, numerous nieces & nephews.

His was preceded in death by two brothers, Earl Branham, Granville Branham, a brother-in-law, David Bragg and sister-in-law Helga Branham.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM on Friday, October 13, 2017 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, Ohio.

A memorial service will begin at 3:00 PM on Friday, October 13, 2017 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, OH. Pastor Jim Wilder will officiate.
