96 of Lima, Ohio died on Thursday, February 17, 2011, at Daughters Residence in Bellefontaine, Ohio.
Born Friday, September 25, 1914 in Glenmore, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Leonard Fowler and the late Lilly Standiford Fowler. She was the wife of the late Edward Hartley, who preceded her in death on October 13, 2000.
Member of Order of Eastern star Chapter #16; White Shrine of Jerusalem Chapter #20; Amanarth Court #50.
Nora received a tremendous amount of joy welcoming each precious great-great-grandchild with a homemade gift. Additionally, her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren all eagerly awaited the handmade Christmas ornaments which Nora had crafted lovingly for each of them for the past 25 years.
Surviving are sons, Franklin (Vickie) Armentrout of Lima, OH and James (Leona) Armentrout of Fremont, OH, Step Son, Edward C. & Evelyn Hartley of Saint Marys, Ohio, daughters, Loretta Williams of Bellefontaine, OH and Elaine "Judy" (Leonard) Hunter of Lima, OH, Step Daughter, Mary E. & John Welsh of Lee Summit, MO., Adopted Daughter, Anita Marshall O Lima, Ohio 23 grand children; 33 great grand children, Great Great Grandchildren, Thirty three.
She was predeceased by Two Great Grandchildren, Joshua Bunch and Courtney Shaw, Two Sisters, Three brothers, Charles Fowler, George Fowler and Richard Fowler, Two sisters, Mabel Curl and Lula May Fowler.
Visitation wil be on Sunday, February 20, 2011 from 2:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. with an Eastern Star Service at 6:00 P.M.
A Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Monday at Lima Baptist Temple located at 982 Brower Rd. Lima, Ohio 45801 with the Rev. Gary Hohman officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Park Mausoleum, Lima, OH. Memorial contributions may be sent to Lima Baptist Temple, 982 Brower Road, Lima, OH 45801 or Universal Home Health Hospice, 701 S. Main Street, Bellefontaine, OH 43311.
