Emra Jean Miller

Emra Jean Miller, 94, passed away at 8:20 a.m. on February 23, 2023, at Kessler Estates.

Jean was born on May 7, 1928 in Lima, Ohio, to Frank and Edith (Line) Lewis.  On April 18, 1947 she married Ronald J. Miller, who preceded her in death.

Jean had retired from Textron (Excello) Corporation where she had worked as a parts inspector.  She enjoyed golfing, wire-wrap jewelry, and reading.

She is survived by her children, Ronald “Ron” E. (Lynn) Miller Sr. and Cheryl “Cheri” (David) Fett; grandchildren: Beth, Denise, Rocky, Eric, Melissa, Jill, Craig, Stephanie, Sunshine, Ron Jr., and Rhonda; twenty-two great-grandchildren; ten great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Dolores Zierten and Norma Rigdon; and a sister-in-law, Helen Lewis.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ronald J. Miller; and brother, Frank Lewis.

The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 p.m. on Monday, February 27, 2023 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, Lima, Ohio and from 10:30 – 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, February 28, 2023.   The funeral service will follow at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday.  Pastor Dennis Kline will officiate.  Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, Lima.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Rita’s Hospice.
