Esther Sanders

Esther Alice Sanders 77, died at 7:05 a.m. March 1, 2010, at Roselawn Manor Nursing Home, Spencerville, Ohio. She was born November 29, 1932, in Muncie, Indiana, to Ralph and Vivian McMahon Campbell, who preceded her in death. On January 2, 1952, she married Gerald ?Jerry? Sanders, who died October 24, 1997. Mrs. Sanders had been a sales associate at Value City and Burling Coat Factory. She was an avid sports fan and loved the Kemp Kids and spending time with her family and friends. Survivors include three daughters, Ruth (Roger) Sexton, Barbara Jamison and Terri (Tom Jr.) McNamara, all of Lima, Ohio; a brother, Ralph Campbell, of Lima; two sisters, Joan Smith, of St. Marys, Ohio, and Lorene (Harold) Keller, of Lima, Ohio; two grandchildren, Gerri Ann (Mike) Nickolson and Janice (James Waithe) Jamison, both of Lima, Ohio; and six greatgrandchildren. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Allison McNamara. Services will begin at 10 a.m. Thursday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. Minister Larry Molaski will officiate. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor?s choice.
