Ethel Wimer, 67, died at 9:20 a.m. Feb. 24, 2009, at her residence. She was born March 02 , 1941, in Tinsley, Ky., to the Rev. Roy and Anna Brummett Mason Sr. Her father preceded her in death. Her mother survives in Lima. On May 12, 1967, she married John P. Wimer, who died Sept. 30, 1997. Mrs. Wimer had worked at Lima Memorial Health System. She and her husband had owned and operated Four Seasons Sports Cards. She enjoyed spending time with her family, bowling and playing cards, Yahtzee and Aggravation. She has now gone home to be with the Lord. Survivors also include a son, Donald (Suzette) Wimer, of Columbus; a daughter, Louise Trivette, of Lima; four grandchildren, Bobbie Jo Wimer, of Lima, Heather Ann Young, of Cridersville, and Kristopher (Jennifer) Wimer and Joshua Morman, both of Lima; two great-granddaughters, Meghan Pepple, of Lima, and McKenzie Morlock, of Cridersville; a stepgranddaughter, Tanisha Agler, of Columbus; two stepgreatgrandchildren, Chelsey Lorenz and Vincent Lorenz, both of Webberville, Mich.; six brothers, Levi (Janice) Mason, of Cridersville, Roy (Janice) Mason, of Oakwood, Jay (Elaine) Mason, of Lakeland, Fla., Clarence Mason, of Raiford, Fla., Larry Mason, of Adairsville, Ga., and Ron (Faye) Mason, of Resacca, Ga.; two sisters, Jewel (Steve) Baker, of Lakeland, Fla., and Mary Kantner, of Ranger, Ga.; a sister-inlaw, Jean (Melvin) Robbins, of Wapakoneta; two brothers-in-law, David Wimer, of Phoenix, and Steven Wimer, of Lima; and several nieces and nephews. Services will begin at 11 a.m. Friday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. The Rev. Denny Hunter will officiate. Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery, Waynesfield.
