Evelyn Mason,
83, of Lima, Ohio died on Sunday, March 17, 2013, at 8:40 A.M. at Lima Convalescent Home.
Born January 4, 1930 in Allen County, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Roy Humphreys and the late Breta (Foust) Humphreys.
Mrs. Mason married Hubert Nelson Mason on February 27, 1954. He preceded her in death on October 6, 1995. Mrs. Mason graduated from Delphos Jefferson High School in 1948. She graduated from Lima Memorial Hospital School of Nursing in 1951 and was a member of it's Alumnae Association. She was a Registered Nurse, retiring from Lima Memorial Health System. She was a long time member of Grace United Methodist Church in Lima, Ohio, and after merger she was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Lima, Ohio.
Surviving are: two sons, Dale (Dana) Mason of Florida and David (Sandi) Mason of Tallahassee, FL; a daughter, Elizabeth "Beth" (Ralph) Moore of Cridersville, OH; seven grandchildren, Kyle Mason, Melissa Britt, Chris Mason, Nick Mason, Danny Moore, Jason Moore, Breta Moore; and eight great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by: a sister, Elizabeth Brenneman.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, March 22, 2013, at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home.
A Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM on Saturday. March 23, 2013 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home with the Rev. John Foster officiating.
Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lima, OH.
